Should I record Coeburn JV games ?

Just wanted to put all the speculation to rest. Yes, Kelly has some 10th graders on their JV. Only two of them start! Both of them are offensive tackles (#60/#53). Neither of them get any playing time of the varsity. NO, not even special teams. The rest of the starters on offensive and defensive are Freshmen and/or 8th graders. I know it kills everyone else for Kelly to have a little bit of success. IF you other people don't want your 8th graders to play, then tell your coaches to schedule someone else. Its obvious the head coaches of each program know what is best for their programs. All of Kelly's JV games this year are true JV games(with 8th, 9th, and 2 10th graders!!!!)

What about that Mabe guy he's got to be 22 years old and he plays QB for the J.V. team. Sure you have 2 10th graders but everyone knows Josh Mabe graduated in 2003.

Not tring to stir up anything but why play 10th Graders on JV and please don't take this the wrong way BUT Kelly's Varcity is not exactly overrun with talent at this point in time and if these kids are not seeing any PT there why take it away from a 8th or 9th grader at the JV level

Or 22 year old college seniors. Good point Counts. I mean why let the 10th grade kids who would not get a chance to play on varsity get reps to make them better for the future makes no sense. I mean why not just pull you freshman up to varsity and cancel J.V. seasons and just have 7th and 8th grade teams and not allow your 9th and 10th graders to get better. Or even better why not just play 22 year old former QB's from Appalachia on your J.V. team.

What are you talking about? Would the JV team not have enough players without 10th graders if that is the case then I think them playing JV is a good thing. Heck it is JV records don't mean anything The other JV teams will benifit from playing a quality Kelly team honistly some people get to hung up on winning and loseing at the lower levels.

That is too unbelievable for even me.I would have to go to a game and hear his name announced to believe that.I know I brought up a few days ago about the older boys playing.But I guess I open my mouth sometimes when I shouldn't.I guess a few things that happend last year is one reason I got to thinking about it again.A 20 year old?That is too funny to even question.I just don't see a coach desperate enough to let that happen just to win a game.And I'm sure he would be fired to let something like that happen.So please let's keep it real.

You've got to be joking .. He's one of the the more memorable Quarterbacks to ever come out of the LPD in the last 10-15 years.

I don't know the guy personally, but I can safely tell you with no doubt in my mind that he ISN'T the type of person that would do that.

Because nobody in the world could ever have the same name as anybody else.....lol

Actually we knew that Josh would be much too noticable at QB, so we recruited another former Bulldog, Larry Huff to call signals for us. Larry does a good job (even though he has to take alot of aleve with his arthritis)
